Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
At this time, all sessions are self-pay. My rates are competitive compared to other local specialists in anxiety and eating disorder clinics. I am not accepting insurance but can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company so that you can use any out of network benefits you may have. I can accept cash, cards, HSA cards, and check.
Do you take reduced fee?
I occasionally offer a reduced fee for services, ensuring that my support remains accessible to those who may need it. Your well-being is my priority, and I understand that circumstances may vary. Please feel free to inquire if this is a consideration for you.
What kind of clients do you typically see?
I am trained to work with any age child so therefore I work a lot with parents. With my eating disorder specialty, I see a lot of teen and young adults but I certainly have treated adults. Sometimes I am meeting with individuals who just want to work on their identity and finding better emotional regulation. Common concerns include eating disorders or disordered eating, obsessive compulsive disorder, body image distortions and dissatisfaction, chronic pain, PTSD, chronic and fatiguing illnesses, perfectionism, sports anxiety, medical adherence, diabetes management, sleep concerns, and anxiety disorders.
Do you provide affirming care?
Of course! The only way to help a human is by seeing the whole individual and maximizing connection and creating a meaningful life. I have trained and worked with the LGBTQIA community to provide care which can aid in a world that is not always welcoming.
When can I expect a response?
From the time you first reach out to my office, you can expect a response within 72 business hours. I am a solo practitioner and do my best to keep up with all inquiries. This time may occasionally be longer if I am out of office. Wait times for first appointments can fluctuate, influenced primarily by current demand and the flexibility of your availability.
